International Business (All-English Teaching BAProgram)
This major is designed to help students develop agood understanding of the basic theories, fundamentals and skills of theEnglish Language and international business management theory, as well as aprimary capability for conducting academic research. Courses are deliveredthrough lectures, seminars and social practice. This program will preparestudents for a high-caliber, versatile career in both international businessmanagement and cross-cultural communication.
Qualifications Required: Secondary high schoolcertificate; TOEFL 70 / IELTS 5.5 above for students from non-English-speakingcountries (or pass the English language test organized by the Institute.).
Tuition fee: RMB 33,500 / year, Application fee:RMB 500.
Chinese Business Culture (All-English TeachingBA Program)
This program aims to develop the students’ abilityto learn, integrate and utilize their knowledge of Chinese business culture inan intercultural context in order to facilitate pursuit of high-level careersin Chinese and foreign government agencies, international business andmanagement enterprises as well as departments of international culturalexchange centers. Participants are expected to achieve fluency in English andexhibit personal characteristics that denote high-caliber qualities andpersonal integrity.

Undergraduate Program: Chinese Language
The duration of these programs is 4 years. Coursesin the first two academic years give students a solid foundation in the basicsof the Chinese language. In the third and fourth years, special module coursesare offered.
1. Chinese Language (Business Chinese)
This program aims at training high-levelinternational trade professionals by giving them a solid foundation in Chineselanguage and a systematic mastery of international trade theory. Theconventions and regulations of international trade as well as an overview ofthe current situation in China are also provided. Graduates will be competentin business communication and translation relative to Chinese language andbusiness culture and they will be trained to read business documents, articlesand books on economics in Chinese, as well as in writing Chinese forbusiness-related themes.
Qualifications Required: Secondary high schoolcertificate. Beginners of Chinese language learning will start from grade 1while students who already have passed the new HSK4 could start directly fromgrade 2. Students who have already passed the new HSK5 could start directlyfrom grade 3.

2. Chinese Language (Culture and Communication)
This program aims at training high-levelprofessionals in media professions, cultural communication institutions,journalism businesses and other industries requiring workers with excellentChinese language proficiency, expertise in communications, a deep understandingof Chinese culture and Chinese national conditions.
Qualifications Required: Secondary high schoolcertificate. Students passing the new HSK4 may enroll directly in grade 2 andon passing new HSK 5, they may be enrolled directly in grade 3.

Special Preparatory Studies (for majors inEconomics, Management and Finance)
Special Preparatory studies are offered for certain4-year based majors such as Economics, Management and Finance. In these programs,the first year is designed for international students to take preparatorystudies, and in the second, third and fourth years, courses in the major areasof study are offered. With successful completions of preparatory studies,students are then allowed to join the second year degree course studies withregularly- enrolled Chinese students.
Special Preparatory Studies aim at improvingstudents’ overall academic competence in specialized Chinese, English,Mathematics and some basic module courses via lectures, discussions and fieldstudies. Students are then able to complete business, management and relatedmajors in a more systematic and scientific way.
